WWE 13’s full roster revealed

The next game in WWE’s long line of wrasslin “simulators,” WWE 13 is coming in November – and THQ’s revealed the game’s full roster via video. This year’s iteration will include a number of today and yesteryear’s most prolific sweaty man actors, including CM Punk, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sheamus, the Undertaker, Mankind, Chris Jericho, and The Big Show – and looks to play on nostalgia by including stars from “The Attitude Era,” including DX, The Big Bossman, Brett Hart, The Rock and…three different versions of HHH.

Last year’s WWE game, frankly, was a load of hogwash – and this is coming from somebody who loves wrestling games (even though I’ve not watched the soap opera since I was a laaitie). They introduced the Predator Engine, allowing for more realistic character animations, but completely stuffed the control scheme up. I hope they’ve taken a look at No Mercy on the N64 for a little inspiration, and actually bring us a wrestling game worth playing this year.

Here’s the full roster, if you haven’t had enough soap opera for today.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
