Because you can only buy it online. Packing more nutshots than a Johnny Cage Cosplay Convention, Sniper Elite 3 is out soon and it’s headed to Effrika. The game will be out in a regular and special edition when it hits shelves. And it’ll also be available in the following flavour.

Here’s the official description, from Rebellion:

Independent UK developer Rebellion has announced they are self-publishing a Limited Special Edition for the PC version of Sniper Elite 3. Exclusive to Rebellion’s own online Gamestore, the studio has planned a limited run of only 1000 copies which will ship on the game’s June 27th worldwide PC launch. Packed with hundreds of pounds worth of content, the Limited Special Edition includes a host of rare collectibles and merchandise – many of which can’t be found in any other edition of the game – as well as the game itself and access to all future DLC.

Sniper Elite 3 Limited Special Edition contents

• Sniper Elite 3 PC game supplied on 2 DVDs.
• Access to ALL current and future Sniper Elite 3 PC DLC packs.
• Bespoke game tin protected by an individually numbered card sleeve.
• Wax-sealed secret dossier including: tank & weapon schematics, maps of North Africa, spotter’s guides and more!
• A5 card hand-signed by members of the Sniper Elite 3 development team.
• Limited edition t-shirt.
• Hand-illustrated playing cards representing American, British, Italian and German forces.
• A2 firing range poster.
• 6 x original Sniper Elite 3 postcards.
• Woven Sniper Elite 3 badge with heat activated adhesive backing.

It’ll cost you $149.99 for the PC only edition, or close to R1600. Who needs it, amirite? I DO I TOTALLY NEED THIS. Sniper Elite 3 will have you in its crosshairs on June 27, hai hai hai.

    Looks nice and all.. but for a game based on Snipers it been cool if they added a Scope or Something..

        From experience, those bit of paper in a CE always end up in the back of the cupboard and are essentially a waste.
