The Witcher prequel series, The Witcher: Blood Origin, has just cast its first lead character. British actress Jodie Turner-Smith stars as a former warrior forced to pick up the sword and return to her bloody ways.

There's a lot about the first season of Netflix's adaptation of The Witcher that was fantastic, but there were some criticisms too and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has now addressed some of these concerns.
