Boasting a near-future setting that meshes FPS combat reminiscent of fan-favourite franchise highs like BF3 and BF4 while also making revolutionary changes to narrative, classes, maps, game modes, and vehicles, Battlefield 2042 appears to strongly return the franchise to its former glory.
