The biggest name in skateboarding is back, and better than ever.

A direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot: Warped, players won’t just be spinning around as John Cena’s fashion inspiration, they’ll also be able to tackle the game as Crash’s sister Coco, Dr Neo Cortex and infamous bruiser Dingodile.

A stacked package of single-player and multiplayer offerings, Call of Duty Modern Warfare may not hit every mark that it fires but this ballsy reinvention of the franchise is still the blockbuster benchmark that is thrilling, thoughtful and terrific.

Modern Warfare might just be the reset key to the entire franchise, the new template from which a decade’s worth of Call of Duty is based, just like the original Modern Warfare was so many years ago when it rewrote the book on cinematic first-person action and propelled video games into the mainstream spotlight.

Twenty years later, and Crash Team Racing is back on the trac, ready to kick some marsupial butt and leave the competition in its dust. Alessandro recently had a chance to take the game for a few laps, and believe it or not…He’s actually good at this game.

I’m starting to get a sense that video game publishers are trying (and succeeding) to cash in on your nostalgia. With that entirely unnecessary pre-amble out of the way, the latest trailer for the remake of the sublime Crash Team Racing reveals that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will have some more modernisation beyond just shiny graphics. You’ll be able to completely customise your karts as well as your characters.

What’s old is new again! Hot off the backs of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon remasters, Activision is planning to bring back their trademark jorts-sporting marsupial for another remake of the past. This time though, Crash ain’t bouncing around a stage like a furry version of John Cena, he’s taking to the tracks and getting ready to burn some rubber in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

“I want the PC community to know that this game was built for them,” says Beenox’s Philippe Troie. “This is a PC game that is being built with the PC in mind. From the controls, to the graphics options, to the gameplay, I want the PC community to feel that this is for them in every way.”
