Sure, by the time BioShock releases on the PlayStation 3 this week, Xbox 360 and PC gamers will have been able to play it for 14 months. But don’t worry, Sony fans. 2K Games is giving you something for your patience. They’ve announced that a DLC pack with new gameplay exclusive to the PS3 version will be released on November …

Bioshock 2 Teaser Trailer

By Nick De Bruyne

Sneaky sneaky, the developers of Bioshock have included a teaser trailer of Bioshock 2 into the game when you finish it on the new Playstation 3 version. For those of you who cannot view videos at work, the video shows a not-so little sister standing staring out into the ocean whilst holding a Big Daddy doll. As the camera pans out behind her, a small scale "sandcastle" version of Rapture starts being pushed up out of the sand. More details after the jump. The game will apparently be taking place on the Atlantic coast and by the looks of things, this "little" sister could mean trouble. There are no details on what platforms it will be available for first but we can probably assume that it will release on both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 simultaneously. Exciting stuff, I wonder if they will make that doll apart of the Limited Edition. That would be pretty damn cool.

This is being marked as a rumour at the moment but it should be confirmed soon enough (if it’s true). According to CVG.com the PS3 version of Bioshock is absolutely fantastic and includes new never before seen areas and puzzles. It doesn’t drop the ball in any way and has walked away with an awesome review score of 93/100 …

Bioshock 'PS3/Xbox 360 Comparison' HD Bioshock was released to universal acclaim last year on the Xbox 360, after which is was ported over to the PC and offered a more improved graphical display on that platform. Now it’s the PS3’s turn to show us it’s Daddy and the big question is whether or not the extra space of Blu-Ray or …

Question of the Week: Your scariest gaming experience ever

By Nick De Bruyne

Greetings boys and girls and welcome back to another horrible Monday at work, another week of office drudgery and indeed another week of gaming. To make Mondays seem a little brighter for everyone I have decided to make Monday the official host of our new Question of the Week section. What this is is pretty simple. We ask a question every week, usually involving gaming experiences and fun stuff. There will be nothing serious here to dampen your day so get ready to share your campfire stories. This section relies on you our readers to let give us your answers and opinions, tell us your stories and open up topics for discussion. If you are one of those people who have always been too shy to comment, or just purely not bothered, now is the time to speak up and tell us of your experience because to sweeten the deal and kick off the new section I have organised some prizes. We have very recently had a "comment spam" competition and we just happen to have an extra copy of Bioshock (PC) and DMC4 (Xbox 360) lying around which I have organised as prizes for this week. We will pick the two best, funniest or interesting stories and the winners will be announced next week (maybe sooner). This weeks question is of course: What has been your scariest gaming experience ever? I myself have been the victim of many a pant-wetting experience, from playing Friday the 13th on my 8-bit when I was but a child to having the living daylights scared out of me recently in Condemned 2. What experience have you had that has left an imprint on your gaming life and of indeed, your underpants. The type that had you going outside for ten minutes just to catch your breath again.... To avoid spoilers for other gamers, I suggest that you begin your comment with the title of the game first so that if someone hasn't played it or finished it yet they can just skip to the next one.] If you have any questions that you want to suggest for our question of the week feel free to email me at nick@lazygamer.co.za .
