Bioware : Don’t Delete Those Mass Effect Saves

By Geoffrey Tim

Bioware have been annoyingly coy lately; first they tease us with a trailer barren of gameplay, but with news that the protagonist of the first game – Commander Shepard – might no longer be alive. Now, they’re insisting gamers hold on to their saves from the first game – This means that obviously something transfers over to the sequel. What, …

In an interview with CVG, the CEO of Bioware Ray Muzyka told them that the PC gaming market is doing very well and the ‘PC gaming is dying’ claims is a load of nonsense. A “reliable source” has told SecondStoryGamer.com that EA is looking to expand the Mass Effect Trilogy to the PS3, mostly because of the “the economic outlook”. I have said it before and I will say it again that more companies need to go multiplatform. Sure a good exclusive can help boost the sales of a console but I find that …

There have been rumours flying around the net for quite some time now that Bioware is working on a new MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game based on the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) franchise. Well good news is upon us all because it has finally been made official. The new MMO will be titled Star Wars: The Old Republic and will be the first MMO for BioWare, who are famous for their incredible role playing titles. First details have been released, more after the jump. Now, this must be due to the World of Warcraft fad but if you have looked at the header image for the article then you will see that the graphics have been stylised into a more cartoony look. Now you can put me into the same boat as all those people who are bitching about Diablo III's new look, but I really feel like the KOTOR series was not one that would ever work well with that kind of look. What was wrong with the realistic Sci-Fi approach that they had to the visuals. Now my character has to run around with a lightsaber handle the size of a small mammal. If you want to read more about it, check the source below because IGN has an exclusive feature with details and more about the game.
