LawBreakers is great…but why’s nobody playing it?

LawBreakers, from Gears of War designer Clifford Bleszinski’s new Boss Key Studios is a damned good competitive multiplayer shooter. It may be another Hero Shooter in what seems like a sea of them, but it’s got a real focus on individual player skill that sets it apart from other games that are, superficially, similar. However, you probably wouldn’t know that, because you’re probably not playing it. Very few people are, according to the Steam charts.

While Lawbreakers shares a few themes and ideas with Blizzard’s smash-hit hero shoot ‘em up, Lawbreakers does feel different in its approach to the genre. That’s because all actions come second to its primary gameplay, which focuses on popping guns before special abilities. Still, it’s a comparison that Lawbreakers studio Boss Key Productions and its big boss Cliff Bleszinski had have had to endure ever since the game was announced.
