No matter which way you slice it, IO Interactive’s Hitman 2 is a miracle. Getting from your starting point to the eventual finish line that is your target, is where the game shines as players need to move between disguises and locations if they want to complete a contract. Doing so also means that you’re going to be using everything from rat poison to screwdrivers to incapacitate anyone who stands in your way. Or if the going gets tough, you could have used the hilarious homing briefcase that Agent 47 carried around with him

Back in the series after a very long absence, briefcases aren’t just a handy way to get a sniper rifle from Point A to Point B while remaining undetected. They’re also chess pieces, items which can be used to manipulate the environment and disrupt the flow of the in-game AI who aren’t programmed to know better.

He may have fists of steel and the chokehold of an Anaconda python on steroids, but even Agent 47 likes to keep his hands clean before he wraps them around the throat of a victim. From Silverballer pistols to lethal concoctions delivered in syringe form, 47 has a wide arsenal of tools available to him on any given mission, plus he’s also kind of adept at scrounging for new homicidal homebrew tools.

Whether it was a fatal cocktail, dropping a moose on an unsuspecting victim or even using Yoga itself to bump off a victim, Agent 47’s streak of creative killing was unrivalled. In Hitman 2, players will need to once again step into the mindset of an assassin, utilising all of the tools at their disposal to get the job done.
