I went into the latest STAR TREK with a clean slate. But even if I had boarded the hype train, I think BEYOND would have zoomed right past all expectations at warp speed anyway.

Star Trek Beyond was almost filmed without Karl Urban as Dr Leonard "Bones" McCoy, and that's a good thing as the actor negotiated to land a beefier role in the sequel.
