Valve announce next CS:GO Major in Krakow, Poland
While Katowice was not a major this year, Valve will be returning to Poland for a the second Major in Krakow.
MLG Columbus CS:GO Major set new records in viewership
Activision Blizzard have reported on outstanding viewership records which shattered previous Major CS:GO tournaments in the past. According to Activison Blizzard 1.6 million concurrent viewrers tuned in to the tournament on April 3rd.
Luminosity grab a well deserved CS:GO Major
Brazilian CS:GO team Luminosity finall grabbed a Major win after coming second in two consecutive tournaments. After pulling off two of the most memorable comebacks in the semi-finals against Team Liquid, Luminosity made quick work of Natus Vincere in the grand finals to secure their spot as Champions and $500,000.
MLG Columbus CS:GO Major teams have been completed
This past weekend CS:GO teams from around the world took to the main stage at the MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio to see who would be the eight Challenger teams to qualify for the Major at the end of March. Four North American teams made it through on home soil, joined by four European teams.
