The second chapter in the Harry Potter precursor film franchise takes thing to a new level as quirky magizoologist Newt Scamander goes from tracking down magical beasties to needing to hunt and stop the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald and his schemes to overthrow the worlds of both wizards and muggles.

Upcoming sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is reportedly going to be "the darkest of the entire series, including all the Harry Potter films" and now we get a brand new trailer and set of foreboding character posters that hint at just that.

We're exactly a year away from the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and Warner Bros. has unveiled the official title and first look at its cast, including Jude Law as the young Albus Dumbledore/
