Thanks to a twitter feed from a student of Swansea Metropolitan University (Who is apparently visited by studio heads every so often), we have been told that Lionheads Animation Director Andrew Lindsay confirmed to the students that Lionhead is indeed currently working on a brand new intellectual property and that details of the game are going to fly at E3 …

So I was browsing some other gaming sites a few minutes ago and I noticed a familiar theme running through them, they had all picked up on the fact that Sony has announced some of it’s E3 lineup and all of them are hugely excited that Heavy Rain is going to be on show. Personally while I am intrigued by …

By Geoffrey Tim

Many of us remember Nintendo’s presentation at E3 last year; it left me scratching my head wondering if it all wasn’t maybe an elaborate joke. Punctuated by such scenes as an overly enthusiastic Cammie Dunaway, an ill-conceived Wii Music demonstration, and the announcement of Animal Crossing to appease core gamers (WTF, Nintendo?), Ninty’s keynote last year was, quite frankly, lame. …

By Nick De Bruyne

Many of us were hoping to see a big announcement from Sony at E3 or Leipzig 08 about the new game from Team ICO, the team that brought us gems like Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. Sony's Shuhei Yoshida, when asked about whether or not the title will be ready to be shown by the Tokya Game Show, had the following to say: "I cannot tell, but But I can say that they’ve been working very hard since the release of Shadow of the Colossus." He does go on to say that we would be seeing the new title "soon". It would be great if it was ready by the Tokyo Game Show but for now we can do nothing but wait until any news is released. Team ICO's new project is being made for the PS3 only as far as we know and there is no indication if the game will be available on any other platforms just yet.
