PS3 compares poorly to the 360 on Fallout 3 – According to the PlayStation Magazine

[Update] PSM(3) has come out to clarify this point. Apparently the PS3 version is SLIGHTLY worse than the 360 version and the difference is purely down to a slightly choppier framerate and the objects are jaggier/rougher in the distance, not to mention that they textures are muddier up close. The 360 version looks better but it’s not like the PS3 …

The more I see of this game the more it reminds me of Bioshock, in all the good ways. This title has epic written all over it… I am a little wary as to how well the slow mo aiming is going to work but apart from that the ambiance seems perfect and I really cannot wait to play this …

Fallout 3 'TGS 2008' trailer HD Somehow Fallout 3 trailers always make me happy. It must be the combination of the Music, explosions and death, but they never fail to bring a smile to my face. I do think we can safely now say that Fallout 3 will just be Oblivion with guns by the looks of things. Last Updated: …

Fallout 3 already leaked. Now don't be a ****

FalloutLeaked.jpg I was utterly disgusted to find out that Fallout 3 has already been leaked and is available to download on the net. I am going to keep this pretty straight and to the point. Don't be one of those leaching maggots that run download and play it without paying for it. Have you seen the footage? Have you read the previews? This game is looking top notch and it seems like a ton of heart and soul went into its creation. So please, I implore you, put together the money to buy it and don't be one of those fools who downloads it. If we support the games industry then the games industry will support us. There is a reason that Gears of War 2 is not coming to PC and we already know that EndWar is being released later on PC for piracy reasons alone. If you are one of those people who may consider downloading it or getting it from a friend who has, think about all the people that poured their hearts into this game so that we could all enjoy it. Do the right thing.

Fallout Movie with Tarantino at the helm?

By Nick De Bruyne

The MTV Multiplayer blog posted up a comment from Bethesda's Pete Hines that shows that they are most definitely not against the idea of a movie adaptation, as long as the right person is on the job. In his comment he plays with the idea of having someone like Quentin Tarantino take on the project. They report on the following comment: “You know, if we f— this game up, nobody’s gonna want to touch us with a ten foot pole. [Our attitude is] we’re a game company, let’s make the best game we can make and all that other stuff can sort its self out once we’re doing our job. Our job is not to try and make a thing that would make a great movie, we have to make a great game. If somebody says ‘we wanna do this, this is the guy who’s gonna direct it,’ then yeah! [laughs] If Quentin Tarantino wants to do ‘Fallout 3,’ yes, we will hear that proposal! [laughs harder] If Ridley Scott wants to do ‘Fallout 3,’ we will have that lunch!” – “Fallout 3″ product manager Pete Hines on whether Bethesda Softworks would be open to the idea of a movie based on their new game. What do you guys think? Does a Fallout movie sound like a plan? Heck, if Tarantino does jump at this it would most definitely peak my interest.
