Universal Pictures took a gamble and released Fast 9 early in just eight international markets. And it's a gamble that has paid off massively as the sequel has already broken box office records in China.

Despite how ludicrous it has become, the Fast & Furious franchise still pulls off a lot of its over the top action with practical stunts, and new BTS featurette shows off how some of the craziness was done.

With a franchise that has gone all the way from illegal street racing to flying cars, taking down submarines and superhero fight sequences, it's hard to imagine where Paramount’s Fast Saga could go next. With space being conquered in the next film, Fast 9, the only frontier left to conquer is time. Or an origin story.

As unbelievable as the stunt appeared on screen, director Justin Lin actually pulled it off with practical effects as he proved with a behind-the-scenes video.

Instead of the usual glut of Super Bowl movie trailers, we got less than half a dozen this year. They're all still pretty cool though covering everything from blockbuster vehicular mayhem to creepy beaches to wisecracking super heroes and more!

The brilliant team up of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are back in Hobbs & Shaw, and we get our first look at the Fast and Furious spinoff today! Take a good look though, as the men won't be in any other F&F movies any time soon.
