Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has been hit by a cyber attack, confirming in a statement that an unidentified actor had managed to penetrate its digital vault and make off with the source code for some of its games.

The big reveal for Nintendo’s hybrid console was less exciting than it should have been, thanks to early leaks. Some of those leaks may have been the results of a bit of social engineering and hacking which saw Californian hacker Ryan Hernandez gain access to Nintendo servers, pilfer information, and then leak it to the public.

Nintendo’s Switch has been hacked thanks to a fault in Nvidia’s Tegra X1 processor, and it’s not really something that can be patched out. That means that the Switch is open to homebrew, emulation and also piracy. That said, this isn’t going to be like the Wii or the DS, and Nintendo has actively implemented some strict anti-piracy measures. While it’ll be possible to pirate games, one Switch hacker has cautioned against doing so.
