I recently got a chance to have the fattest of chats with Coker on his work for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, his guiding philosophy for crafting a soundtrack, defining the melody of horror and the final push to nail the landing for this momentous sequel. Here’s what he had to say.

Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion was doing nice numbers, audience retention looked good and the annual pass content model seemed set to reinvigorate the franchise further by doubling down on what makes Destiny great in the first place. If your first guess as to why the relationship began to sour and happens to rhyme with hunny, then buddy you’d be right on the mark.

It’s a rumour no longer, as Activision Blizzard has officially begun laying off workers. In an earnings call held yesterday, Activision Blizzard announced that 8% of its workforce would be facing termination, a number that works out to around nearly 800 jobs being lost from an initial employment capacity of 9600 from across Activision, Blizzard and King.

Activision has switched developers for the newest Transformers game...and it looks like that was a quite a mistake.

Activision has laid off the development staff for the yet-to-be-released Deadpool comic-book adaptation.

From having very little interest in Transofmers games, I'm now all aboard for Fall of Cybertron. Because of mehcanical dinosaurs, that's why!

Noticeably absent from any PC release schedule, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will only be appearing on consoles, and developer High Moon Studios has a good reason for that.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be a sequel that features a bigger story and more importantly...Dinobots!
