Some camera footage from a recent Game Crazy company convention has popped up on the internet and shows off some new gameplay from the Modern Warfare 2 single player campaign and it is looking incredible. The footage shows the player making his way through Rio alongside some other squad-mates and adds an extra dimension into the gameplay that we are …

Modern Warfare 2 Not Getting Public Beta – Quality Still Promised

By Nick De Bruyne

In the past years many of us have had the pleasure of taking part in the Call of Duty public multiplayer betas, which to us pretty much just means that we got the chance to play some of the game a little bit earlier than everyone else. It seems that Modern Warfare 2 is not going to be getting a …

There are Bajillions* of World War II Games

By Geoffrey Tim
August 14, 2009

When it was announced, I bemoaned Treyarch’s decision to base their latest Call of Duty on World War II again instead of opting for continuing Infinity Ward’s quasi-fictional Modern Warfare setting. As somebody who’s been playing games for two decades I’ve played through a lot of World War II games, most of them shooters. If you’re like me, you’ve …

Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition Is Truly Going To Be Limited

Call of Duty fans have been losing their minds over the idea of getting their hands on the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition and it’s bundled set of night vision goggles. Now, ironically the Modern Warfare 2 special bundle is not actually called the “Limited Edition” because news has rolled in that production on the Prestige Edition will in fact …

By Geoffrey Tim
August 4, 2009
in :  Gaming

Modded Warfare may be a thing of the past, but that doesn’t mean cheaters have thrown in the towel. The online multiplayer component of the modern-day shooter is still being completely ruined by asshats who have found new ways to demonstrate their indubitable douchebaggery. The hacks – seen on both consoles – seem to be prevalent on the PS3 and …

By Nick De Bruyne

Never mind the night vision goggles because you won’t be getting any sort of special edition at all. Infinity Ward’s community manager Robert Bowling has confirmed to bigdownload.com that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 will not be getting a hardened or prestige edition at all. No reason has been given for the move and I am sure that …

Start Getting Excited – Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Trailer Revealed

By Nick De Bruyne
July 28, 2009

MW2multiplayerAC130.jpg Knowing that the next Modern Warfare game was simply just "on the way" seems to have had an effect on my actual excitement for the game. It took looking at this newly revealed multiplayer trailer from Infinity Ward to remind me that I am in fact incredibly excited for this game and it's release date needs to get here faster. This specific trailer shows off a new multiplayer element that comes in the form of the AC130 Big-Ass-Mofo-Plane that can now be controlled by players to rain down some serious death from above. Check out the awesome-ness, posted after the jump. Be sure to catch the last little part of the trailer, it's a nice little humorous touch. [Thanks Poddle for the tip]
