LittleBigPlanet 2 On The Way?

By Nick De Bruyne

A job listing on Edge Online from Media Molecule has gotten us wondering what exactly they could be working on, now that LBP has had a good run and the DLC is streaming out smoothly. Is it LittleBigPlanet 2, maybe even LittleBigSomethingElse or is there the chance that they are working on something completely new. What we do know is …

Judge Dread arrives on LBP – 28.05.2009

I still love the idea behind LittleBigPlanet and the way that the DLC is being themed is awesome, however I am starting to lose faith in it to be honest. The game has just not lived up to my previous (very high) expectations and while I wait here with baited breath I am beginning to realise that Media Molecule have no …

By Gavin Mannion

For some reason the price of LittleBigPlanet has been in freefall recently, now while we are never going to complain about a cheaper game it does make you wonder what is going on. A few online retailers are now flogging the title for as little as 10 pounds or R150 which is an incredible price for a really good game. …

By Nick De Bruyne

An announcement by Sony yesterday just goes to show that they are still pushing hard to keep the PSP in the running, as it has seen quite a bit of a slump lately and is being pretty hammered by the success of the Nintendo DS as well. Sony announced yesterday that LittleBigPlanet will be heading to it’s portable system and …

The fact that LBP has not had the most amazing sales does not change the fact that the game seems to be a crapload of fun. In a recent interview, LBP developers Media Molecule have opened up to let us know that not only is a “significant patch” coming for LBP but a whole bunch of extras as well. It …

Dangerous LBP Glitch

When I saw the title “Dangerous LittleBigPlanet Glitch” I really thought someone was being silly and over reacting… I mean what can be dangerous about a glitch in a game? Well this one pretty much destroys your LBP game as Sackboy will just constantly keep on instantly dying when you try to play LBP. Even after restarting your PS3. Now …

LBP: Import your own images soon

By Nick De Bruyne

lbp.jpg A report from PS3 Attitude has come in saying that the ability to import your own images into LittleBigPlanet will be patched in really soon. How soon? It looks as if it will be available by Christmas. The function was supposed to originally be in the game at launch, but was left out due to time constraints with the plan to patch it in later. It seems that a couple of of clever people have already made a plan around the lack of the function by using their Playstation Eye but they obviously wouldn't be able to such a great quality image into the level. Lookout for more news on the patch as we draw closer to December.

Media Molecule promise new LBP levels and real money for your creations

200810310102.jpg In an interview with GamePro, Eric Fong, associate producer on LittleBigPlanet answered a few questions asked to them by the site. The first of which, was whether or not Media Molecule continue to release new levels, to which Fong replied: "Yes, Media Molecule is continuing to add to the player experience with new levels, costumes, materials, and a host of other content." Some good news for LBP fans. The more support is given for LBP, the stronger it will become at keeping gamers in their game. Gamers have also been promised that they will be able to sell their creations for real money. More after the jump. Gamepro also asked when users will be able to "sell" their creations for real money, which was promised by Media Molecule in a report from Reuters . Fong replied saying that: "There are still a lot of details that need to be worked out, that's pretty much all I can say at this point." I sincerely hope that Media Molecule didn't make a promise before they knew whether or not they could actually keep it. Let's see how it all plays out.
