You may have heard a lot of ranting and raving go happening on the net because the newly up-and-running LittleBigPlanet servers are not so up-and-running at the moment. There has now been a message posted on the US Playstation blogs that say the following: The LittleBigPlanet servers have been experiencing significant problems throughout the past 24 hours affecting the online game experience. We are working round the clock on the solution to the current issues and we expect the service to improve very shortly. Offline Play and Create will still function properly during any disruption. Please accept our apologies for any frustration this may cause for the time being. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that they will be ready soon, just as soon as possible. I hope for all the LBP owners' sakes that it happens sooner rather than later. It really sucks to have to put up with online issues.

LBP has been reviewed by Gametrailers and without ruining anything I have to say that it was a good review. LBP developers Media Molecule have announced that the servers for LittleBigPlanet are officially online. While this does mean that any lucky people who already have a copy can start using them, it also means that everyone can look forward to having instant access to the servers and not have to wait for them to go online or sort out there issues, which I find to be a problem with a lot of titles these days. It's great that with all the talk of these games crowding the internet all year, the time for gaming greatness has finally arrived and will continue for the next month and a bit.
