Team 17’s delightful turn-based strategy game of mass destruction has existed in one form or another for many a year, usually taking on the shape of a 2D tactical game wherein players carved a path to victory with shotguns and airstrikes as they budged the not so nimble invertebrates into prime position. Worms has ventured into 3D territory into the past, but its next iteration will see the little fellas tackle a brand new style of play: Real-time action.

There seems to be fear in the air regarding the online component of Diablo 4, not only from the days of horror that gave birth to the the infamous Error 37 in Diablo 3’s earliest runs but also an underlying uneasiness of MMO elements that may be at odds with the core feel of how a Diablo game should play. Don't worry though, because Blizzard is on the case!

Perhaps that’s a little harsh but you have to admit that the similarities are pretty difficult to overlook.

In a Reddit Ask Me Anything session last night, Lead Producer Jim Vessella took to the virtual stage to chat all things Command & Conquer with fans, answering a ton of questions regarding everything from gameplay improvements, multiplayer concerns and if there’d be mission-exclusive Orca units with laser beams attached to their frikken’ heads when the game launches on June 5. Here’s the massive round-up of all the questions and the answers that came from that mammoth session!

So what’s the current state of the upcoming Command & Conquer Remaster from Petroglyph Studio and how will it’s multiplayer run? The answer to the first question: Pretty good! In a new reddit post, Petroglyph revealed that the studio has “just completed our Content Alpha milestone” and that means that all assets have now passed the remaster muster. The remuster if you will.

According to CD Projekt Red, development on multiplayer is still at least two years away, but the wait will be more than worth it when it does finally make a splash.

Over on the multiplayer front Activision is trying something new: Content that’s actually free and meaty enough to chew on. There’s a substantial amount of the stuff coming in the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which begins on December 3.
