Overwatch: First Strike would tell the tale of Overwatch in its earliest days, right when the Omnic Crisis started. Unfortunately, the project has been cancelled.

At BlizzCon earlier this month, Blizzard announced that Heroes of the Storm was getting two new characters in the form of Varian Wrynn and Ragnaros. That’s not all they had planned for the MOBA though. They also shared details on a promotion called ‘The Nexus Challenge’, which is now live.

Jeff Kaplan responded to queries on whether Overwatch would see picks and bans for heroes. The short answer: not yet.

The latest Overwatch patch contains Sombra, the arcade mode, and even a brand new map. It's out now on all major platforms!
