I haven’t heard of Nexuiz before but I received a PR in my inbox this morning heralding the arrival of the PC arena shooter Nexuiz on the PS3. Nexuiz has been built on the latest Quake engine and from what I can understand is very much styled after the old school Quake Arena gameplay with their special ingredient being mutators …

Hunted: The Demon's Forge, A new title from Bethesda

Bethesda have announced that they will be publishing a new fantasy game from inXile Entertainment. Although inXile veered away from any major platform since their mediocre adaptation of “The Bard’s Tale” to consoles in 2004, their founder, Brian Fargo is very well known for the projects he has been part of, of which Carmageddon, Fallout and Baldur’s Gate are just a few. Bethesda is undoubtedly one of the forerunners in the Fantasy/Role Playing genre, and are known for taking on great projects that have a massive fan base. From the screens that have been released thus far, this co-op, cross-platform dungeon crawler looks good, lets hope Bethesda build on their reputation and that of Brian Fargo’s.

A brand new Medal of Honor has entered the world of YouTwitFace and is actually looking very impressive, especially considering that the last couple of Medal of Honor titles have been nothing particularly special. In an attempt to win over the market that is currently engrossed in Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2, it looks as though EA …

Uh oh, God of War III is out there, right now. South African retailers seem to be notoriously bad for breaking street dates these days and the latest culprit is Incredible Connection. While not all of the stores have the game on the shelves, a post on the South African PS3ZA forums has notified us that an Incredible Connection in …

Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack Features 2 Rehashes And A Stupid Price

By Nick De Bruyne

Most of you know that I’m not the biggest fan of Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer anymore, thanks mostly to the constant barrage of glitches, hacks and all around cheap tactics being used all day, everyday. Details on the exciting new Stimulus map pack have finally been released and I honestly can’t say that it has done anything to make me …

Aaron Greenberg ‘caught’ re-tweeting anti-PS3 articles

By Gavin Mannion

Xbox 360’s Product Manager, Aaron Greenberg, has committed a cardinal sin by spreading negativity about his competitions fans instead of promoting his own product and followers. He re-tweeted an article entitled “Why Sony Fanboys Are the Worst of the Bunch”. Unfortunately the original article appears to be down at the moment but I did stumble across a forum that had …

American stat-trackers NPD have released their fabulous February findings – and for only the 2nd time since the Wii’s launch in 2006, the Xbox 360 was the top-selling home console in the region. While the folks in Redmond are obviously doing a happy dance, there’s probably a good reason for their victory. US supplies of both the PS3 and the …
