Thank you, Captain Obvious. “I think we did cater for a market, albeit not as big as the traditional PSP-3000 market,” Kaz Hirai told MCV. “It is the first time we have done that with any of our devices, and we did get a lot of feedback, both good and bad. Do you think maybe that some of the feedback …

Is the PSP Go! Gone! before it’s out the Door?

By Geoffrey Tim

I’ll be the first to admit that Sony’s sleek new PSP Go! fills me with a tempering technolust that makes it even more difficult for my old, disgusting, fat PSP to fit in to my jean pockets. It seems though that the little device could be in trouble before it’s even hit retail shelves. Despite an awesome upcoming line-up- including …

The much rumoured PGP Go has been officially leaked by Sony’s electronic insider magazine, Qore. I think all the rumours were true on this one, the PSP Go doesn’t have a UMD drive (bye bye UMD), it’s vastly thinner than the PSP 3000, has a sliding screen and unbelievably only has a single analogue stick. Sony have become quite famous for their strange and sometimes just plain twisted advertisements. This latest advert for the PSP is actually quite magical and does a wonderful job of showing how much entertainment can be packed into the handheld device. While it's all very pretty and the music is catchy, that tune does bare a scary (as in 95% the same) resemblance to the tune "He's got the whole world in his hands". Whether or not any religious factions would care to make a fuss about it is a different story altogether. Look on the bright side though, the advert is nice and it doesn't involve naked people with thumbs in strange places!

Now that there are some concrete details about the Nintendo DSi, Joystiq has made a very nice little hardware comparison chart comparing the DSi to the PSP-3000 and Apple’s “gaming handheld” the iPhone/iPod Touch. Last Updated: October 2, 2008

John Koller talks about the PSP 3000

By Gavin Mannion

John Koller from Sony has been chatting to Gamespot about the upcoming PSP 3000 and the improvements contained within… To be honest the improvements are pretty minor, something which Sony admits themselves, the most important improvements being the brighter screen and maybe the microphone? I know I personally found it annoying that I couldn’t use my PSP outside so a …
