Over on Twitter, Shane Morris posted a story of how one road trip began with a pair of motorcycles and ended with a camper van that had a brick of heroin hidden inside of it. The tale only gets madder from there, as Morris recounts the ballsiest showdown he ever had with a gangbanger, how he scammed that gangster out of cash and managed to get away from a deal that could very easily have ended with him bleeding to death inside of a dingy motel room.

There’s something absolutely magical about the right track at the right time on a lonely length of tarmac, that just lifts your spirits up and keeps your road senses sharp while your feet dance on the pedals.
