Frogwares has proven itself to be damn good at piecing together an intriguing story over the years with each new Sherlock Holmes game, and by going back to the start of it all it has a brilliant foundation to work from and build a new mind palace for a new generation of would-be gumshoes.
The latest trailer for Sherlock Chapter One from Frogwares shows off plenty of puzzles, action, and two-fisted crime-solving on the fictional island of Cordona.
Frogwares is going back to the start, as they reboot the seasoned gumshoe and take him back to his very first cases. This time, Sherlock isn’t an experienced problem-solver of impossible cries operating out of 221B Baker Street in London, but is a fresh-faced 21-year old amateur tackling the worst that the Mediterranean has to offer. Please feel sorry for the genius who has to search for clues in paradise.
