This first trailer for 11.22.63 is gonna seem crazy!

Remember that time Joss Whedon made a black & white Shakespeare feature film adaptation while he was busy shooting The Avengers? Well, allow JJ Abrams to show you his bit of onemanupship: Despite the fact that he’s currently busy with one of the biggest and most highly anticipated sci-fi films of all time, he still found the time to collaborate …

Watch this incredible trailer for VIKING now!

Despite reports of my overall magnanimity, I must admit that I’m not exactly fluent in Russian other than toasting for drinks and saying goodnight. Because of this slight oversight, I actually don’t really know what is being said in this first trailer for Viking (brought to my attention by TwitchFilm). But who the hell needs words when your trailer is …

Oh hell no! It's the trailer for FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK!

I don’t know a single person who watches Marlon Wayans’ spoof movies. At least nobody who will admit to watching them out in public. But clearly somebody is though, as Hollywood studios keep giving Wayans money to make more despite the films generally being the equivalent of a self-administered cinematic lobotomy. And the next brain cell killer from the young …

Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 looks fantastic for all the wrong reasons

By Darryn Bonthuys

Dead or Alive games are absolutely solid when it comes to nailing the fighting game experience. Everything from the speed of matches to the pacing of a thrown punch or a roundhouse kick is on par with the genre greats like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. It’s just a pity then, that Dead or Alive games have mostly tried to augment that experience with titillation over fisticuffs.

This trailer for MIDNIGHT SPECIAL is like a feeling

The last time Michael Shannon had to deal with somebody with super powers, a whole city was nearly destroyed by dubstep and Batman got pissed off. Luckily, Midnight Special doesn’t feature an alien in a tight blue onesie and a red cape but it certainly doesn’t look any less super. The upcoming film reteams Shannon with his Take Shelter and …

The first AGENT CARTER season 2 teaser trailer is fantastic!

Hayley Atwell is awesome. Besides for being gorgeous, witty, charming and completely ruling the internet with hilarious Instagram posts and Dubsmash wars, she is of course also Peggy Carter, the kickass Marvel character that was first introduced to us a love interest to Chris Evans’ Cap in Captain America: The First Avenger but has since gone on to steal all …

Ta-daaaaaah! It's the first trailer for NOW YOU SEE ME 2!

By Kervyn Cloete

When it came to magician-heist actioner Now You See Me, the biggest magic trick it pulled off, in my opinion, was making $351 million at the box office. Sure it was flashy and entertaining in places, but it completely underutlized its stellar cast and tried to be too clever for its own good with nudge-nudge, wink-wink plot twists stretching plausibility …

Prepare yourself for so much more in the first trailer for THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR

By Kervyn Cloete

Hollywood does a lot of dumb stuff when it comes to movie sequels, but occasionally they get something right. Case in point: Snow White and the Huntsman was a decent enough popcorn blockbuster, with great visual effects, a fantastic villainous turn from a scenery chewing Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth being a badass action hero with an axe, but it …
