By Gavin Mannion

Legendary has been bubbling around under the radar for a couple of months now and every now and then it pops up and teases us… I don’t know much about the game to be honest but after reading a few press releases it all sounded pretty interesting and it was firmly wedged into the ‘Beady Eye’ folder.. So when a …

First Local LBP level!

By Nick De Bruyne

Believe it or not, South Africans can be creative too. A few lucky local residents have been able to get their hands on an LBP beta key and have been having a whole lot of fun without us. While the creator of this level needed some coaxing (almost bordering on blackmail and assault), he finally agreed to let me put one of his levels up on our site. You may be used to those Americans who will either make a level that can do you taxes, or a level that teaches children about how babies are made, but this is none of that nonsense. Just some good old fun that also includes a skateboard and a big ramp. If you are from South Africa and have made a groovy LBP map, send us the link and we will try and get it up as well!

Loco Roco 2 Trailer!

If you have a PSP, but missed out on Loco Roco, then you really missed out on something quite special. If you have a PSP and didn't play it because you thought your friends would snicker at you, then you really should be ashamed of yourself. Loco Roco is fun, happy and interesting to say the least and the sequel is nearly here. You can't watch this video and tell me that it doesn't look like its going to be a ton of fun and a bag of laughs.

R-Type TGS Trailer

R-Type Dimensions 'TGS 2008' trailer Now I wouldn’t normally post a trailer like this unless there was something interesting about it. Thankfully there is, have a look 30 seconds in at the “arcade” mode that actually attempts to “simulate” you playing the game on an actual arcade cabinet. It does however seem that the camera moves rather erratically in this …

Fallout 3 TGS trailer

Fallout 3 'TGS 2008' trailer HD Somehow Fallout 3 trailers always make me happy. It must be the combination of the Music, explosions and death, but they never fail to bring a smile to my face. I do think we can safely now say that Fallout 3 will just be Oblivion with guns by the looks of things. Last Updated: …

New Gears of War 2 Developer Diary: Never Fight Alone

By Nick De Bruyne

With Gears of War 2 just around the corner, a lot of excitement is brewing in the minds and thumbs of Xbox 360 owners. This latest developer diary is going to get the hype meters to hit the red . This video reminds us what all the fuss is about by showing little snippets of some of the new maps and multiplayer modes. After we had the chance to give Gears of Wars multiplayer a good go at rAge it became awfully clear that Gears of War 2 is going to blow our minds and keep us playing and playing until our poor little Xbox 360's disappear into a cloud of smoke or red rings. With so many people still playing the original Gears of War a whole 2 years after it's release then all the new modes and maps are sure to keep us all busy for a very, very long time to come. In the wonderful words of Marcus Phoenix: "Bring It!"

Joystiq have managed to grab a good 30 minutes on hand with the new Price of Persia, I didn’t get a good chance to have a go at rAge but I can tell you, from what I saw that graphically, it was looking awesome. There’s a summary and another video after the jump. Last Updated: October 9, 2008

The Conduit on Wii shows off Xbox 360 level of graphics – Yeah Right

By Nick De Bruyne

High Voltage Software, the developers of the The Conduit for the Nintendo Wii have been going on for a while now about how the Wii is capable of graphics that are on par with the Xbox 360. They have now released a video showing off the technical capabilities of the game and indeed the Wii. I am sorry, but I am just not sold in any way. While the game looks quite cool and the graphics are relatively impressive, it still feels like nothing more than an impressive Gamecube title at best. If an Xbox 360 game was released with the same graphics as The Conduit it would be torn to shreds in an instant. Good for them for pushing the abilities of the Wii but please, don't make bold statements that just aren't true.
