San Andreas Stories Finally Coming to PSP?

By Nick De Bruyne

[Update: This story has just been debunked. It seems that the entry was made by one of the staff members back in 2007 and was basically someones wishful thinking. It’s too bad because the idea of San Andreas on PSP had me quite excited, oh well. Maybe Rockstar will surprise us and announce a new PSP title sometime soon.] The …

Rumour: Forza 3 Only 10 Months Away

By Nick De Bruyne

A source of Videogaming247 has informed them that Microsoft is looking to release Forza 3 this Christmas. While nothing is confirmed, and Microsoft has yet to even comment on the game’s existance, it seems really likely that they will be aiming to have a new exclusive out this December to strengthen their line-up. If the leaked information from last June …

Capcom have confirmed that the sequel to the Xbox 360 zombie basher ( and now Wii as well) will be coming to all three consoles this year. This comes after Capcom announced that 2009 will be the year of the multiplatform in the latest issue of the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. So then, even more zombie bashing fun. While the …

PSP2 – The latest rumours and Sony’s awesome response

By Gavin Mannion

Sony have repeatedly stated that there are currently no plans to release a new PSP anytime soon and that all the rumours flying around are simply that… rumours. However when it comes to hardware revisions the console manufacturers have traditionally been a gaggle of liars so I don’t see why that would change now. And so we move over to …

The internet is drooling all over this but to be honest, I wouldn’t get my hopes up. A scan from the latest issue of Game Informer shows a Killzone 2 preview, with the game marked as PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Let me explain what’s going to happen now. Xbox 360 fanboys will (and already are if you read some …

A rumour has popped up in the latest issue of EGM magazine that tells of a few features that may be seen in Gears of War 3. From the looks of things, the Gears of War team at Epic have already begun development on Gears of War 3 even though 2 just walked out the door. The original rumour slated …

God of War III not coming in 2009?

By Nick De Bruyne

gow3.jpg In May of this year, we posted an article that said that Amazon.com has God of War III listed with a March 2009 release date. Problem is that a bit of information may have been leaking in the form of a listing on the internet movie database (IMDB) website. Since the announcement of God of War III, no official mention has yet been made of when games can expect to actually be playing it. A slip on IMDB may however, have more of answer for us than Sony does. On the page of Terence (T.C) Carson, the voice actor for Kratos, a new project has been added. Yup, you guessed it, God of War III. Now as is always standard practice on IMDB, the year of the game, TV show or movie title is always put in brackets next to the project. According to the information on IMDB, the title is set for 2010 and is "in production". If the information is correct then it looks like we may have to wait for more than a year to be able to go on Kratos's next adventure. The only thing we can hope for is that the game could be set for a March/April release but we all know that publishers like to aim for the Christmas season and if that is true, the wait for God of War III could possibly still be another 2 years from now. That is a very, very long time.

Resident Evil 5 Demo Coming to Xbox 360

By Nick De Bruyne

What is there to say about it really. If it is anything like RE4 then we know that it is going to be absolutely amazing. In fact, the idea of taking the gameplay and tone behind RE4 and adding Next-Gen visuals and Co-operative play is more than enough reason to get me very excited indeed. So here comes the great and not so great news. A report from IGN, which is based on a Famitsu translation, suggests that the demo is going to be available exclusively on the Xbox 360. Another purchase from Microsoft or is this a hint that the PS3 version is having a bit of trouble? I don't want to get into any of that at the moment. There is unfortunately one more catch to this whole deal. It seems as though the demo is only going to be made available in Japan. That is of course, not saying that a demo will not be made available to other regions at a later stage. This means that all of us will basically not be able to get our hands on it without having to read up on a few Japanese postal codes and possibly get a hold of a VPN. The demo will be available from December 5 and is going to include two levels that will be playable in single and online co-operative multiplayer. It looks as though the demo will only be available to Xbox Live Gold members though. Maybe if we are lucky, we may get the demo coming to the rest of the world as well, but for now there is only confirmation of a Japanese release. As mentioned above, there is no talk of a PS3 demo just yet but sit tight because that could change in the near future.
