With Halo ODST just around the corner many fans worldwide are sitting in anticipation for the release of their next digital drug.
This live action short is so well produced that you will think that you are watching a trailer for a big budget Halo movie. It has been executed so incredibly well that the one and half minutes of film almost completely outdo all other videogame movies ever made, seriously… they really need to make this movie.
Even if you are not a fan of Halo, check this short video out, you will not be sorry. Video after the jump.

This advert was made by Rubert Sanders. He also made the Halo 3: Believe ad, Xbox: Joy, Monster.com and First Person POV ad for the wolverine game.
If they can get somebody like him to direct the movie then yes, go ahead and make the movie but if its going to be like the Street Fighter movies, please stop proceed directly to jail, do not pass go and do not collect $200.

Awesome trailer… They should really think of making a movie or at least some series like BSG.

Yeah the halo verse is so large, they can easily do a series in it.
There is a entire inserectionist story line that has not featured in any game yet.

Honestly that reminded me entirely of Starship Troopers (the first one)…
One of my all time favourite action movies…

Not a fellow fan :(…
I think I watched Starship Troopers about 20 times at the cinema when it was first out… then went back to the Internet cafe to gorge on beer and Quake..
How I miss those days

The first, Paul Verhoeven directed film was great; a poignant satire of militantism, with the message that war breeds facist tendencies.
The sequels were all absolute rubbish though.

Yep i did get a bit of a Starship Troopers vibe from the clip but wow that was cool. The music made that clip.

The sequels needed to be dragged outside and shot in the head.
My favourite part of the first game is when the guys head explodes like a watermelon and his friend starts yelling for a medic… for some reason it cracked me up at the time :dizzy:

wow just wow, i think they were russian, we see war as it is a brother dies and he wants revenge even at hands of death it’s self makes you feel they deserve a lot of respect even though there not real soldiers
