The Man with the iron fists is an intriguing film so far. For a directorial debut, it looks like Rza has assembled all the right pieces so far, to create a stylish and supernatural kung fu experience.

But that’s all based on a few trailers and posters, because right now, no one has actually even seen the film yet. It’s out soon, and it’ll be interesting to see if we’ve been hyped up for a tame experience, or if the film really does live up to the bombastic images that the trailers have created.

I’ve got a feeling that I’m going to be on the receiving end of an angry shoryuken inside the cinema from Kervyn, if the film doesn’t exactly play out as expected. But here’s the latest character trailer, starring UFC middleweight brawler Cung Le as Bronze Lion, one of the central fighters in the flick.

Making his debut as a big-screen director and leading man, RZA—alongside a stellar international cast led by Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu—tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all.

Since his arrival in China’s Jungle Village, the town’s blacksmith (RZA) has been forced by radical tribal factions to create elaborate tools of destruction. When the clans’ brewing war boils over, the stranger channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon. As he fights alongside iconic heroes and against soulless villains, one man must harness this power to become savior of his adopted people.

The Man with the iron fists is out on November 2 in the US of A, with no set local release date yet. Dammit.
