A new international trailer for THE LONE RANGER rides into town

Movie trailers are the lifeblood of the film industry, as they generate the positive press needed to really get people to go watch a movie. But big shocker here for fans of American films: Not everyone speaks English. Which means that there are quite a few familiar trailers out there, that feature a voice over from a different language.

So here’s one right now. The Lone Ranger, with a Japanese narration that for once, doesn’t sound like an episode of Ninja Warrior where the host is hopped up on enthusiasm and crack cocaine.

It’s a mix of old and new in that trailer, as we get a peek at perhaps another big action scene, set in a mine. A mine filled with silver perhaps? I hear that stuff makes some great bullets. The Lone Ranger is out in July kemosabe, and stars Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, and Helena Bonham Carter, with Gore Verbinski directing.
