Season 3 of Arrow wasn’t exactly the best. Unlike the superb second season, series 3 of the Starling City vigilante drama was one wherein the show managed to continually trip over itself whenever it picked up steam and squandering a genuinely decent antagonist as the Arrow took on the League of Assassins and Ra’s Al Ghul.

Still, season 3 did have some highlights, and a well-deserved happy ending for both Oliver and Felicity. But you can’t keep a good arrow in a quiver, and it looks like the newly-renamed Star City needs a real hero. It needs…A Green Arrow:

ARROW took fans by surprise when it debuted the first footage from its upcoming fourth season at Dragon Con on Friday, September 4, 2015. The jaw-dropping Season 4 highlight reel offered fans their first on-screen peek at several new super suits, including Stephen Amell’s updated Arrow look and John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) inaugural form of concealment. The reel also marked the highly-anticipated introductions of Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough) and John Constantine (Matt Ryan), who are sure to spice things up in the Arrowverse when the show returns Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 8/7c on The CW.

Whoa, there’s a lot going on in that trailer. Ray Palmer is presumed dead thanks to an untimely explosion, John Constantine is teased and a slew of new characters are on the way that includes Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum), Anarky (Alexander Calvert) and Season 4’s big bad Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough),who Arrow’s producers have described as “pure evil”.

And of course, Diggle is finally stepping up to the plate as a more visible guardian of Star City. Even if his helmet does look like it was stolen from Magneto. At least it has a visor, to disguise, some of that ridiculousness.

Sad thing is the trailer would have had more of an impact if it was not for the fact that legends of tomorrows trailer pretty much spoiled it all.

I’m not really sold on Diggle’s look to be honest :/ seems a bit off, especially when he’s placed next to all these other people running around in hoods or with masks of sorts O_O
