Ashton Kutcher wants to leave his mark on something in this new trailer for JOBS

1 min read

Besides for warding myself against the voodoo that Ashton Kutcher must have employed to grant him such a creepily strong resemblance to late Apple chief Steve Jobs, I can’t really say that Jobs, the new biopic about the tech icon, has garnered much of a response from me. That all changed with this new trailer.

Unfortunately said response was me facepalming at the cheesy use of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Can’t hold us” (Because Mac and Mack sound the same. Get it? Yuk yuk!). Other than that the film still looks okay; not bad, but not great either. Time will tell whether Kelso will be successful or whether he’s going to BURRRRNN!

We follow Steve Jobs (ASHTON KUTCHER) from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth through his darkest days, brightest triumphs, and the ultimate power of his drive, his passions, and his undying will to change everything we thought possible. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, “Jobs” plunges into the depths of Steve Jobs’ character, uncovering his driving motivations, his gifts, his flaws, his failures, and his ultimate successes.

JOBS will be hitting US cinemas next week actually on August 16, 2013, so I’m expecting the announcement any day now about how the film’s tickets will be charged at a slightly higher price, followed by the filmmakers claiming that their film is the first one to have tickets.

Can be great movie if it is a honest movie or it going to be movie where “artistic liberties” has distorted it into a movie that can be called iGod.
