And not just his career, I mean, ha! After wrapping up a trilogy of Batman films and still riding high on his success with Inception, the popular director is looking to start work on a brand new project. And he may have just found his project, because it looks like Nolan may be going into a sci-fi realm with Interstellar.
Written by his frequent collaborator and brother, Jonathan Nolan, Christopher Nolan is in talks right now to direct and produce the feature. Apparently inspired by Kip Thorne and his physics work at Caltech, the film had originally attracted the attention of Steven Spielberg, but he left for other ventures before he could commit to directing.
Right now, Nolan is in talks with Paramount and Warner Bros for the film, according to Heat Vision. As for the plot itself, details are being kept under lock and key. But take a look at the work that Thorne has produced, leads one to believe that the film could involve time travel, wormholes and parallel dimensions.
