ghostbusters

I don’t think I need to tell you guys just how much I love Ghostbusters. I already lost several interns when I constructed my own Proton Pack, and I’m wearing my ghostbustin’ uniform right now. Still, believe it or not, there are some people who have yet to see the original film. And that’s just wrong. But next month, you force those people to have a good time, when Ghostbusters returns to theaters for one week to celebrate turning 30.

Three odd-ball scientists get kicked out of their cushy positions at a university in New York City where they studied the occult. They decide to set up shop in an old firehouse and become Ghostbusters, trapping pesky ghosts, spirits, haunts, and poltergeists for money. They wise-crack their way through the city, and stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, one which will release untold evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters are called on to save the Big Apple.

I think that bustin’ trailer just made me feel good. Ghostbusters pulls in next month, ahead of the 30th anniversary Blu-Ray release of both films this year. The original film starred Bill Murray, Ivan Reitman, Dan Akroyd, Ernier Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis. Now if you’ll excuse me, we have a class-5 Nick on the site, and those little pests are nasty buggers if you don’t trap them quickly.
