Get ready for the DREDD sequel campaign 'Day of Action'

1 min read

It’s no secret just how much we loved Dredd 3D last year. I’m still running around the offices with a bucket on my head dispensing justice to people who have no idea what is going on, while Kervyn is convinced that his 50cc scooter is Justice Department material.

It’s a pity that the film never did that well at the box office though. On DVD and Blu-Ray however, it sold gangbusters. And that’s what could help save a sequel from the cutting room floor.

Today is a day of action for fans. If you’ve signed the petition to make a Dredd sequel, then you’re awesome and your sentence will only be two weeks in the iso-cubes. But if you really want to make the financiers behind a potential sequel stand up and take notice, you’ve got to put your money where your mouth is. By ordering the film on DVD or Blu-Ray.

If several thousand of those copies get sold today, that’ll hopefully send a clear message. You can read more about it yourself right here. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a Blu-Ray to go buy, so that I can complete my sentence.
