Hermione just robbed our asses in the real red band trailer for THIS IS THE END

When the end of the world comes, I’m probably inviting none of y’all into my tin foil super-bunker! Still, I’m not the only survivalist out there, and we’ll most likely meet in Thunderdome when we battle to the death over some AA batteries and an MP3 player loaded with ZZ Top songs.

Over in Hollywood though, things look much bleaker, as the gang from Pineapple Express discovers that for themselves in this red band trailer that explores Seth Rogen’s deepest, darkest childhood fear.

The comedy “This is the End” follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Once they discover that they are experiencing the Apocalypse, they must come to terms with why they were left behind. Eventually they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Man, ain’t nobody got time for an apocalypse! This is the end is shaping up to be my kind of comedy so far. Drunk, violent and swearing. I’m digging the idea of seeing parody versions of several actors try to survive the end times, and the fact that it happens to be several apocalypses ragnarocking the planet at the same time is just icing on the Mars Bar.

This Is The End is out in June, and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride and Jonah Hill, with  Evan Goldberg and Rogen directing.
