…and a partridge in a pear tree! (And by “partridge” I mean resistance sniper in a gillie suit!)

After sitting on the shelf for years, Dan Bradley’s Red Dawn remake is now finally entering the home straight before its release and FilmDistrict want to make sure that there’s no chance in hell that you won’t know about it.

They’ve released so much new material that you’ll be pooping red, white and blue as you daydream about Wolverines.

In case you forgot exactly why Chris Hemsworth, Adrienne Palecki, Josh Hutcherson and Josh Peck are running around like heavily armed homeless people, here’s the synopsis before you get dropped into all the pics and clips.

In Red Dawn, a city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky – shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

So first off we have the new, heavily patriotic trailer that makes me want to go out and vote for Obama. After that you got the new featurette that focuses on the Lady Wolverines, followed by 9 – count ’em  – 9 TV spots!

That’s it! I’m getting myself a bald headed eagle and a slice of apple pie!
