Guys, I’m worried. I really want to say that I’m excited for Warcraft, because I love so many people involved in this, but the more material I see from it, the more I think that the curse of the video game feature film adaptation may just be striking again. And with Assassin’s Creed actually looking damn good against all odds, fate may have a double helping of suck in store for the Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) directed fantasty action adventure.

With just a scant few weeks before the film finally drops after being in production for nearly two years, Legendary Pictures are now pretty much in the final straight of their promo campaign. And as such, the studio has released a batch of new images and character posters and over 3 minutes of footage thanks to 4 new clips. And you can check them all out below.

Warcraft is an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment’s global phenomenon. The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Warcraft stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. It is scheduled for release internationally on May 25, but locally we’re going to have to wait a few more days to June 10, 2016.
