I’ve got a love/hate relationship with Seth MacFarlane and his various animated shows. They can be forumlaic, drawn out and filled with ridiculously obscure jokes, resulting in quite a few misses, but when the man does nail that one joke perfectly, it’s like taking a chair-shot to the funny bone.
Ted just might be one of those films which prove to be a genuine hit on the humour center, as the tale of a foul-mouthed teddy bear with a bad attitude should guarantee some laughs at least.
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.
Courtesy of Collider, we now have a behind the scenes look at what goes on the world of Ted. Plus, we also get to see the animated toy stay silky smooth. Ted stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and director Seth MacFarlane as the voice of the title character, and is out in August this year.
