The new motion poster for Silent Hill: Revelation leaves me feeling less than enthusiastic about nurses

3 min read

Good day, folks! While I doubt that Silent Hill: Revelation is high on your priority list this season, the series of games and films do have a dedicated fan base and while I haven’t played the games (shocker!) I have watched the first film and I did find it quite fun, as if it was trying to touch on a deeper mythos but it never quite managed. Well, with two days to go before it releases, a motion poster has been released for it and I do enjoy the novelty of it. (warning – it autoplays!)

Holy scary nurse, Batman! I have to admit that I am actually quite curious to see it, as I haven’t seen a good popcorn fun-horror (I’m trademarking that!) in a while, and with all the other more serious horror titles coming out it’ll be quite nice to have in the mix.

Here’s the synopsis from Comingsoon:

In “Revelation,” Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.

Okay, 100 bucks says Sean Bean dies. Anyone up for a wager? The fact that he stars in it though does tend to add a touch of class, but if we had to be completely honest, he chooses his films even more carelessly than Nicholas Cage but, as with Mr. Cage, we tend to be quite forgiving as an audience. For a better look at Pyramidhead, the demon nurses and our heroine, take a look at the following stills from the film:
