So Mr and Mrs Smith are no more and the world has lost its mind. I’m not one for all that noise so it’s nice to find a bit of news related to Brad Pitt that isn’t related to his split from his wife. That comes in the form of a new trailer for his upcoming movie, Allied – and it has to be said that the movie looks pretty good.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Steven Knight, the film is rumored to be based on a true story. Pitt stars as intelligence officer that meets a French Resistance fighter played by Marion Cotillard, on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. The two get forced into a sham marriage Ala Mr And Smith version WW II and amidst the chaos that comes with war they fight for their love for each other.

You can see the drama unfold in this new trailer below.

Based off that trailer there seems to be a great mix of action, suspense and romance to keep everyone entertained along with a strong cast Allied looks set to be a big one for 2016.

Allied releases on 23 November 2016.
