Earlier this week, we brought you the adrenaline fueled UK trailer for Ron Howard’s Rush, the true story of one of Formula 1’s greatest rivalries between James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Of course though, whenever the British do something cool the Americans want to release their own version (e.g. Top Gear, Being Human, colonization of third world countries, etc) so now we have a new US domestic trailer, along with some new shots of the film.

After a catastrophic crash at the 1976 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring that could have killed him, Formula One driver Niki Lauda (Brühl) returns to face his rival James Hunt (Hemsworth) in their pursuit of the 1976 World Championship at Fuji in Japan.

UK or US trailer, this film still looks incredible. The film’s 20 September release date is still some way off, so you can probably expect a whole lot more different versions of trailers to come, and honestly, I can’t wait to see them. Vroom vroom indeed.
