Tina Fey may have done another fantastic job co-hosting the Golden Globes the other night, but I’m sure she felt a little envious when her hosting partner in crime, Amy Poehler, won a Globe but she didn’t even get a nomination for her work in Muppets Most Wanted. What’s that you say? Muppets Most Wanted isn’t even out yet and therefore wasn’t actually eligible for any awards? Boo, I say. I don’t care about such trivial things like “reality” and neither do the people in this new trailer.
Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.
Muppets Most Wanted also stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrrell and all those fuzzy freaks you’ve come to know and love and hits the big screen on March 21, 2014.
