There’s been a lot said so far about the casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman, most of it being negative. But folks forget that the man can act, and those skills are getting put to the test in the upcoming flick The Double.
And it’s kill or be killed in this film, as Eisenberg finds out that he happens to have a twin who is better at everything in life than he is.
Simon is a timid man, scratching out an isolated existence in an indifferent world. He is overlooked at work, scorned by his mother, and ignored by the woman of his dreams. He feels powerless to change any of these things. The arrival of a new co-worker, James, serves to upset the balance. James is both Simon’s exact physical double and his opposite – confident, charismatic and good with women. To Simon’s horror, James slowly starts taking over his life.
The Double wil be shedding its skin around the world from April, and also stars Mia Wasikowska , Wallace Shawn, James Fox, Cathy Moriarty, Yasmin Page and Noah Taylor. Richard Ayoade directs.

Because it would be a very short movie if he just laughed at him & moved on with his life.
