Win tickets to THE NICE GUYS because we're nice!

Nice Guys

Everyone at HQ are considered to be nice people, except Trevor of course but we keep him around because he makes a semi-decent cup of tea. Well we decided to prove this once again by throwing away double tickets like we just don’t care!

Yes, if your name is drawn from our very complex and secretive drawing system (we cover Trevor in glue and throw him into a bath of entries. Whoever sticks to him is a winner) you could be going to see the rather funny and awesome looking movie The Nice Guys. Starring Russell Crow and that bloke from Drive (Ryan Gosling), this new film from writer/director Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Iron Man 3) sees them team up to solve the crime of the century! It looks hysterical mainly because I haven’t seen Gosling act like a buffoon before. Have a watch and see if you agree.

Doesn’t that look hysterical?! I love 70’s over-the-top buddy shows and this looks to tick all the right boxes. We have tickets for screenings in both Cape Town and Sandton to give away, so just make sure you choose the right cinema. Also, please note that you’re only entitled to one valid entry per valid email address.

Here are the details:

Dates: Monday 13 June

Time: 20:00

Location: Johannesburg, Ster Kinekor Sandton, Cinema 7

Cape Town, Cavendish Mall, Cinema 8

To make things a little more interesting why not dress as if you were in the 70’s, like our two crazy heroes! Thank again to Times Media Films!

Simple as that! I’ll let you know who has won via email on 6 June while the actual movie’s release date to the public is 16 June.

Competition rules here.

I have been an avid fan of movies ever since I discovered Santa Clause wasn't real, a day marked in my memory by my first viewing of It's a Wonderful Life, which wasn't so wonderful that day. Since then I've watched thousands of movies and even fooled my parents into putting me through uni to get a degree in the subject. I first started writing as a journalist for The South African Newspaper before moving onto communications for an NGO trying to save the planet. Unfortunately my recommendations to the CEO that we should all don rings imbued with the powers of earth, fire, wind, water and HEART went unheard. Now I pretend the end isn't nigh by hiding in movies.
