Assassin’s Creed producer, Sébastien Puel has been chatting about the future of the franchise and the possibilities that they have at their disposal.
As he rightfully points out the beauty about the Assassin’s Creed IP is that it is not limited by time or even the main character. Everygame is set in a different time with a different protagonist, he even goes on to state that there could easily be up to 35 versions of Assassin’s Creed though I am not sure the gaming community is ready for that sort of longevity just yet.
As for AC3 he mentions the idea of a female assassin in the World War 2 era as all the men were in the war and the economy was being run by females.
Now not to get to far off topic but what does the economy have to do with anything or has he let slip some of the storyline of AC2?
Back on topic, a female assassin in WWII would have been a great idea if it wasn’t for the story being done already, Velvet Assassin, and that they had guns in WWII which may damper the fun behind the free running ability.
However it could be worse, we could get Assassin’s Creed Flintstone Edition instead.
