Assassin’s Creed 4’s tools of the trade create plenty of stealth

Stealth

Relax Ubisoft fans, the day is not lost! While Watch Dogs has been pushed back to next year, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will still be launching this month. And now that Ubisoft doesn’t have to compete with itself at this crucial time of the year, it can focus on doing what it does best. Shoving a knife up the vital organs of a British/French/Dutch person.

As always, Assassin’s Creed 4 will offer players the chance to behave like an actual assassin and kill without being seen. The hidden blade and smoke bomb are back and ready to help you get your kill on, while Edward’s blow pipe will allow him to puff puff pass out soldiers with all manner of toxins.

  1. While this article is pretty damn awesome, we have more pressing matters.

One of our own got engaged this weekend, and it is our job as the responsible members of the Lagz community to organize the BEST bachelors for Ultimo Cleric.

Now, we need a venue, lots of booze, and a silly outfit for him to wear.

    Suggestions are welcome

When you say hidden blade and smoke bomb “returns”, I’m assuming they were not in AC3?

On a serious note here does the fact that I never played the assassins creed with shitty connor in it matter? did anything amazing happen that means i should play it before this one?

Good question. I gave up after I realised that the franchise became a carrot on a stick for countless sequels. With very shit endings and no conclusion.

I do not trust CAPCOM and after the way they shafted the DMC fans with all that Blonde hair I passed on it.

Ill pick it up. One of the few hundred games that I still need to play from this gen while the next gen go through all those inevitable teething problems.

I’m actually very keen on this game, however my problem is do I buy now on PS3 or wait for PS4 version?

I see there is a “Assassins Creed Heritage Collection” that will be coming out very soon. Looks like it will include all the games except for 4 obviously. Maybe play that before PS4.

Nothing else to do that writing pointless stuff Sir Darryn? – Seriously ?! So, for the stealth part of new ACIV is a blow pipe ala Tenchu! Smoke Bombs and hidden blade ala…, well, ala entire AC franchise..(?). Um! what about a crouching button that allows to crouch and snake your way through the guards? What about using tool to reduce light through your path? That is what we call real stealth. So technically, hundred of fans had been crying to put a F… crouch button, but nope UBISOFT does not listen, and we get a blow pipe instead. congratulations we are all “blown away” by this news Sir Darryn.
