Assassin’s Creed Unity sneaks in story hints

Somehow, when I think of voice actors, I imagine that they’ll be similar to hand models – that the part in use is the only really beautiful part of them. However, the voice actors behind Assassin’s Creed Unity are also incredibly good looking, and offer some unique insights into the story of the game. We’re able to add to those hints from a chat with Leslie Phord-Toy at rAge.

Here is the video showing just how attractive the voice acting group is:

For those who don’t watch videos, we learn that Elise (the sexy red head in the game and real life) and Arno were childhood friends. They always used to be trouble makers as kids, and now as adults they are forging a more romantic involvement. However, Elise is determined to get revenge for her father’s death, something that is even more opposed to Arno’s goals considering that Phord-Toy could tell us that she actually ends up as a Templar.

Arno also encounters the Marquis de Sade, who is depicted as a pure libertarian, seeing freedom from all oppression, including morality. Despite seeming strange, he is incredibly savvy and Arno realizes that he knows what’s really going on. Similarly, upon interacting with Napoleon, Arno understands that he is a strong and intelligent leader. Contrarily, Robespierre is a complete nut job, leading France into ruin.

As for Arno, we keep hearing that he was a rebel and a bad boy growing up, slowly becoming more responsible as he seeks to avenge the death of his father and his adoptive father. It sounds like Ubisoft is returning to an Ezio-esque character type, but that might just be my wishful thinking.

Meanwhile, in Present Day, Ubisoft isn’t giving much away except to say that we’re going to be playing as ourselves, and we will find out more about an hour into the game. Check out my whole interview from rAge:
